NCR highlights FJV Jody Kent Lavy (Los Angeles '02)
 
On August 31, the National Catholic Reporter published a story about Jody Kent Lavy, an FJV who is the current Director and National Coordinator of the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth (CFSY) in Washington, DC. Jody did JVC in 2002 in Los Angeles (Casa Ita Ford) and was inspired to advocate for change in the juvenile justice system by celebrating Mass with youth at the juvenile hall. Her journey has now brought her the opportunity to partner with JVC in a new way as a supervisor for Jesuit Volunteers. We are proud of the work she is doing with JVs and the passion she brings to the youth in the juvenile justice system.
