First, ask your reference to check their “spam” or “junk mail” folders as the auto-generated emails sometimes are filtered into these folders. Some colleges and universities have very secure servers that do not allow for our electronically generated reference forms, which may be preventing receipt by your reference. You have the option of contacting JVC to arrange an alternate email address for that person, or you can send your reference a writable PDF form. Please contact JVC to request that form.
I need to change one of my references.
If you have decided that another person would best serve as a reference for you, but you have already submitted your main application form with the name and contact information for your references, you can call 410-244-1733 and ask them to "Re-Open" your application. We will help you with this so that you can edit the information for your references and make the change you need to make. We will help you with this so that you can edit the information for your references and make the change you need to make. I uploaded the wrong version of an essay/file.
Once you have uploaded your essays, resume, or other attachments to your application you cannot edit or delete them. Please be sure to proof read and double check documents before uploading. Remember all files should be saved as PDF files before uploading. If you need a document removed from your profile call 410-244-1733 and ask for the recruiting team.
I cannot get an appointment with a doctor before the deadline.
Have you had a physical exam within the past 365 days? Ask your doctor to fill out the medical clearance form with the information from that exam, no appointment necessary.
You can also research free clinics in your area, to find a doctor that could give you a check-up.
Don't forget to try your college or university health center, too. All materials, including the medical clearance form, are required to be postmarked or received on or before the deadline. No exceptions.
My school cannot send the transcripts on time.
All materials are required to be postmarked on or before our deadline. We strongly recommend that you request your transcript early to allow for processing time. Many schools need up to three weeks to mail a transcript for you, so be prepared. Call 410-244-1733 about an extenuating circumstance. Remember to upload an unofficial copy of your transcript with your online application.
