Financial support from individuals and foundations is crucial to our work. Nearly 75 percent of our budget goes toward supporting our volunteers who work at over 300 schools, non-profit agencies and other sites that directly serve people who are poor and marginalized. They bring idealism, passion, and dedication to their work, and save the organizations they serve millions of dollars, allowing them to focus their resources on programming. During their service volunteers immerse themselves in the tenets of spirituality, simple living, community, and pursuit of social justice. This Catholic, Ignatian faith formation changes the way they see the world and makes an impact that lasts a lifetime.
