WINTER 2010 - 2011

A tri-annual magazine with news for former, current, and future volunteers and supporters.

Former Jesuit Volunteers in Public Service

Leadership takes many forms, from the courtroom to the operating room. It is based on self-awareness of one's strengths, weaknesses, and values. For many Former Jesuit Volunteers, their experiences through JVC played a major role in helping to define a trajectory for life.

This issue highlights FJVs who have entered into public service careers. In the printed edition, read about Monica Marquez, Colorado's newest State Supreme Court Justice; Chris Koller, Rhode Island Health Insurance Commissioner; and British Robinson, Director of Private Sector Engagement for the U.S. Department of State.

Reflections from other FJVs in the public sector will soon be available online here.
