Caroline Wilson

Caroline served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Oakland, CA until August 2013.  As a JV she worked at a non-profit serving an elderly homeless population.  Caroline is a graduate of Spring Hill College.

Throughout Caroline’s college experience she volunteered at L’Arche in Mobile.  L’Arche is a community for adults with intellectual disabilities, and a placement site for JVs – Caroline’s first opportunity to meet with Jesuit Volunteers.  Through this experience, and participation in cultural service immersion trips, Caroline developed a passion post graduate service and in particular for JVC.

During her time as a JV, Caroline enjoyed reflective discussions with fellow casa (or community) mates, clients, and co-workers.  Each discussion was a chance to learn about local issues and a platform to build a stronger community and knowledge of various perspectives.  For fun, you can find Caroline with a camera in hand, searching for the perfect cup of coffee, or laughing at the corny joke of the day.
