As Admissions Coordinator, Francie is responsible for engaging with campus partners to recruit, screen, and place the next group of Jesuit Volunteers. Francie is an alum of Amate House, the Young Adult Volunteer Program of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Francie served in 2014-15 at Girls in the Game, an after-school program for young girls.
Prior to joining JVC, Francie worked as a Residential Counselor with Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois in Evanston, and supported the development of eight high school scholars.
Francie recalls time spent juggling after-school pick-ups and negotiating study, chores, and countless early bedtimes (EBTs) – it was a blessing, and Francie enjoyed almost every minute of it.
Francie graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a Bachelor of Business Management, though received the most joy from elective studies in sociology, economics, and theology. Francie enjoys vegan alternatives, fall weather, and ice hockey.
