Welcome to JVC and thank you for your commitment! We are here to accompany you during this transition phase. This page is designed to provide resources for your onboarding experience. Read on below for a quick reference to the important items you should be aware of.

Over the next few months you will be receiving important information to prepare you for your year of service as a Jesuit Volunteer. We will provide a separate web page to walk you through each phase of your Orientation journey: Preparation, What Happens At Orientation, and Beyond Orientation.

Onboarding Tasks from Human Resources

Hello Incoming JVs!

 

The Human Resources Department welcomes you.  Shortly after you have been matched and signed your agreement, you will receive a message from our payroll/HRIS company called Paylocity.  The email will include your username, JVC’s company code and a temporary password.  You have a list of tasks to complete.  Please check your emails and junk mail regularly just in case we have questions. If you do not receive this email, please message Anissa Rose at hr@jesuitvolunteers.org for assistance.

 

PLEASE NOTE HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ONBOARDING TASKS ARE SEPARATE FROM YOUR ONBOARDING 1 AND 2 TASKS WHICH ARE COMPLETED IN YOUR APPLICATION ACCOUNT.

 

There are several more steps to JVC’s onboarding process which will come over the next few weeks. For this reason, we recommend completing these tasks as early as possible to prevent last-minute delays.

Orientation: Stony Point, NY

Orientation for the 2025-26 cohort will take place at Stony Point Center in Stony Point, NY August 15-19. JVs are responsible for booking their own travel to Orientation. JVC will take of travel to your placement cities after Orientation. For more information on your Orientation retreat site, click here. For directions, click here.

 

Please complete this JV Travel Survey no later than Monday, June 30. This form collects your travel information and plans for Fri 8/15 coming to Stony Point. It also collects information that JVC staff will be using to book your flights from Stony Point to your City of Service on Tue 8/19.
