Graduate schools across the country recognize the value of the unique experiences and skills that Jesuit Volunteers gain during their term of service. The following colleges and universities have generously partnered with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps to offer full or partial tuition scholarships to JVC alumni.

Unfortunately, due to limited staff capacity, we cannot take individualized requests; however, if you have a connection with someone at a university that would like to set up an FJV scholarship, please have them reach out to us directly.
All FJVs are eligible for a 20% tuition discount, with no application fee, on all Master's level graduate degree and certificate programs. There are more than 55 graduate programs to choose from including programs such as MBA, Finance, Education, Psychology, Marketing, Health Administration, and more!
JVC is proud to announce a new partnership with Boston College School of Social Work! Boston College School of Social Work will provide scholarships in the amount equal to $25,000 for up to 2 Former Jesuit Volunteers per year, renewable in subsequent years of the program up to 2 year(s). Additional FJVs admitted to the program may receive scholarships contingent on availability. No additional application is required for BCSSW scholarships. One full-tuition scholarship is available for an eligible FJV to pursue, on-campus in New Orleans, the degree of Master of Pastoral Studies or Master of Religious Education. The Ignatian Service Fellowship includes a $20,000 scholarship to SLU's One-Year MBA program. Fellows will also earn up to $5,400 serving the St. Louis community through a graduate internship with the school’s Service Leadership Program or Habitat for Neighborhood Business. There is no fee to apply and fellowship applicants will be automatically considered for GMAT waivers. Apply by April 15 to start June 1.
One admitted FJV per year will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship based on the merit of their application. The applicant will also be considered for additional funding!
The M.A. in Catholic Educational Leadership program prepares Catholic-school leaders to increase public awareness of Catholic schools' impact on communities, to conduct and disseminate research in Catholic education, to strengthen Catholic Schools' commitment to a faith that does justice, and to explore and develop innovative ways to support transformative Catholic education. Partial tuition scholarships are available for all FJVs.
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Georgetown University! Former Jesuit Volunteers will now receive a 20% tuition scholarship during each semester in which they are enrolled in an eligible BGE master’s program. Biomedical Graduate Education has 19 different 1-year Master's programs (in-person and online) including an M.A. in Catholic Clinical Ethics, M.S. Biotechnology, M.S. Complementary & Alternative Medicine, M.S. Biochemistry, M.S. Biomedical Science Policy & Advocacy, and many more!
50% tuition scholarship for all FJVs accepted to a JST master's program
Eligibility for a special tuition scholarship, minimum $5,000 per year, renewable for a second year. Up to five people can receive this scholarship each year, on a competitive basis. The actual award amount may be greater; $5,000 is the minimum. For a waived application fee, please contact gspia@pitt.edu prior to applying.
The Middlebury Institute educates professionals to advance understanding, promote peace, and drive change in pursuit of a more just world. Our graduates have meaningful careers in international affairs, international security, trade and diplomacy, environmental policy. The Middlebury Institute offers guaranteed 25% scholarships (worth over $10,000 annually for a two year program) to Jesuit Volunteer Corps alumni to attend any of its master's degree programs.
Full-tuition scholarship for FJVs to earn a Master of Social Work, Pastoral Studies, Divinity, Social Justice, or Spirituality through the Magis Program.
LU CHOICE program offers full-tuition scholarships to get a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, work two years in a Catholic School, live in community and participate in a spiritual formation program (https://www.luc.edu/luchoice/)

75% tuition scholarships are available to qualified applicants who have participated in a CVN member program (which JVC is a member). Additional opportunities for full tuition scholarships are also available.

Full-tuition scholarship for FJVs to earn any Master’s degree through the Oznam Scholarship.
$6,000 scholarship for FJVs to study graduate-level Information Systems or Public Policy through the Heinz College School of Public Policy.
Full-tuition scholarship for FJVs to earn a Master of International Political Economy and Development through the Arrupe Fellowship.
25% tuition discount for FJVs to earn an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries
50% tuition discount for FJVs to earn a Master of Theological Studies, Master of Divinity, M.A. in Ministry, M.A. in liturgical music, or Master of Theology
15% tuition discount for FJVs in any Master of Professional Studies, Executive Master of Professional Studies, and Master of Arts in Liberal Studies programs through the School of Continuing Studies.
$3,000 minimum scholarship per year for Former Jesuit Volunteers to earn a Master in Public Policy, Master in International Development Policy, Master in Policy Management, or Master of Science in Data Science for Public Policy through the McCourt School of Public Policy.
Partial tuition discount for FJVs to earn an MA in Integral Economic Development Management or Policy through the Graduate Program in Integral Economic Development.
20% renewable three-year scholarship for FJVs to earn a J.D. through the School of Law Dean's Service Scholarship.
$8,000 minimum scholarship per year for Former Jesuit Volunteers to earn a Master of Public Administration or Executive Master of Public Administration through the Fels Institute of Government.
