Honoring JVC's History in San Jose, CA

From 1977-2023276 Jesuit Volunteers served with JVC in the city of San Jose.

Entering the 2023-24 Program Year, JVC is pausing our presence in San Jose, but we are hopeful to return when our JV numbers increase.

Out of gratitude for the service of our San Jose FJVs and the wider JVC community that has supported them, we have set aside this space for reflections, photos, and tributes in celebration of Casa Pedro Arrupe, SJ.

If you have a story or photo from your time in the San Jose community, please email fjvs@jesuitvolunteers.org to add it to this page!

I loved my time as a Jesuit Volunteer in 1994-1995 in Casa San José. This is a photo of my community taken at Orientation in Point Bonita in August 1994.
